  • A yearly Hugo Sinzheimer Memorial Lecture has been given since 1975 at the Goethe Universität Frankfurt.
  • Since 1993 the Hugo Sinzheimer Institute (HSI), interdisciplinary research institute on ‘labour and law’ at the Law Faculty of the University of Amsterdam, has been carrying his name. Recently it has been merged with the Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Labour Studies (AIAS) and continues as AIAS/HSI.
  • The Hugo Sinzheimer Institute has published a series of books at Sdu Uitgevers, The Hague, under the series title of Sinzheimer Sociale Monografieën (Sinzheimer Social Monographies).
  • The Hugo Sinzheimer Institute has organized Sinzheimer Lectures in Amsterdam as well; among its prominent speakers have been the Professors Guy Davidov, Bob Hepple and Alain Supiot.
  • April 2010 the Hugo Sinzheimer Institut für Arbeitsrecht has been founded in Frankfurt am Main, initially as part of the Otto Brenner Stiftung, since 2018 of the Hans-Böckler-Stiftung.
  • In 1996 the Otto Brenner Stiftung has instituted a Hugo Sinzheimer Price for excellent dissertations in (sociology of) labour law, now yearly awarded by the Frankfurter Hugo Sinzheimer Institute.
  • In Berlin, near the Reichstag building, one of the tables in memory of parliamentary members killed by German national-socialism remembers Hugo Sinzheimer.
  • A street in Frankfurt/Bonames is named after Sinzheimer.
  • In Frankfurt 'Stolpersteine': 'Stolpersteine erinnern an Hugo Sinzheimer und seine Familie', Goethe Universität.

  • Since 2016 there is a yearly Hugo Sinzheimer Moot Court competition.
